My hubby and I were recommended to use them from a friend for our fertility. We had just gone through a miscarriage. Dr Smyth, Kathy, and all the staff were extremely kind to us. It was so wonderful after going through our loss. We had not been treated with the same compassion elsewhere.We went through their program, and I feel so much better afterwards. They give you so many resources to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Not only is my health so much better, but we also have our beautiful baby boy.Dr Smyth is so detailed in her visits. I dont think Ive ever had a doctor that detailed. You can tell she has a love for her work.My only complaint is I wish the clinic was closer to where we lived. I dont think Ill find a replacement for you. Thank you for all your help!

My husband and I had recently suffered two pregnancy losses, were struggling with our health, and were at a loss for what to do next. Discovering Health For Life was an immense blessing as we were able to look beyond just “trying to conceive” and look at the bigger picture when it comes to our overall health, not just reproductive. Not once did I feel like my moral beliefs were put to the test or ignored when looking into the fertility side of things. I was also able to learn how to properly chart my cycle and better understand my hormones and the role they play in my overall health. I felt heard and cared for during each appointment and loved the coaching calls that were there to pick me up when I needed encouragement. Overall I feel so much more energetic as well as calm and focused. My gut has been healed and my anxiety is so much more manageable. A bonus was that I was able to lose the additional weight I’d put on after my first two losses. I am very happy with the care my husband and I received from Dr. Smyth and the rest of the team and I am very hopeful for the future when it comes to my fertility as well as my overall all health.

Couri & Smyth has been such a blessing to my husband and I. The office staff is welcoming, understandings and truly wants whats best for all patients. Dr. Smyth has spent up to hours with us at a single appointment (where do you find that?) digging deeper into underlying problems. They give you resources and truly do care about each and every patient. Every time we leave, its with a smile on our faces and sharing about how much we appreciate and how thankful we are to have found C&S!

We are so thankful to have found Couri and Smyth! Dr. Couri is a wonderful doctor. Intelligent, passionate, and caring. I thoroughly enjoy my visits with her, learning about Health for Life! She explains everything very plainly, and is very knowledgeable on nearly any questions I have. She knows her life’s work well! The journey of infertility and hormones can be a long one, but every visit to her office is very purposeful and generous – she gives a whole hour to discussing your health! She is always on the ball, ready to discuss the next thing to work at and correct. She takes your health seriously and does not brush off your concerns, no matter how small they are (i.e., headaches), she reads between the lines to try to figure out all the pieces to her patients puzzle! I had quite a few levels that were off and she worked hard to help me get those on track…filling and refilling prescriptions and prescribing different medications to balance them out. Even when the journey is long, she offers hope and prayers and support! The cost feels exorbitant to begin with, but don’t let that or the food sensitivity program/detox (this is just the first step in their health plan, their help goes way beyond this!) make you step away from Couri & Smyth. It is worth every penny! They give you your moneys worth! I especially want to thank them for their great patient support between appointments. If I have a question on my medications, or some other small problem I need an answer for, they are always very helpful and prompt with answering my questions! THANKYOU! Dr. Couri. Kathy. Brittany. Dr. Smyth is an absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable person! I went to her for weight loss and hormonal issues. She and her team have be encouraging every step of the way! Even the little milestones were treated like huge accomplishments. Weve talked through and chased down every issue until it was satisfactory - not just good enough. Dr. Smyth is also constantly learning and improving her knowledge for her patients! I love that shes actively still learning and adapting.The program isnt necessarily easy, but theres always support including frequently coaching calls to help give you more resources and answering any questions. The video modules are also a wealth of knowledge and help guide through the program step by step.This isnt a quick thing or a 6 months and done - this is about a lifestyle change.

Working with Dr. Couri has been amazing, I am so thankful for her wisdom and insight with my health issues. I no longer struggle with fatigue, anxiety, and depression like I once did, Dr. Couri was able to find out the root cause of my problems and care for them. I am so excited to be pregnant after a miscarriage and trying to conceive for over a year. It was a very difficult couple of years for my husband and I, we felt very loved and cared for by Dr. Couri and her staff. Everyone has been so kind and friendly to us.

This practice should be called We CARE About Your Health and Life! I have been with Dr. Couri for 4 years and I credit her for giving me my life back. Pretty much all of the issues I went to her for initially have all been resolved and I feel amazing. She listens to EVERYTHING I say. If there is an issue she will get to the bottom of it and then we work to resolve it. Even better she has given me the tools to take charge of my health. 5 stars++++++

For more than five years, Dr. Smyth has helped me navigate through the complex world of Lyme disease and autoimmune diseases. She has offered encouragement and education every step of the way. Her combination of God-given intelligence and compassion make her one of the best doctors you could find anywhere.

From my very first visit with Dr. Couri I felt like I was in good hands. The moment my husband and I sat down with her she began sharing her thoughts on how best to help me. We were both blown away at the immediate level of understanding of what was going on with my body, what type of a treatment plan she would suggest and the confidence with which Dr. Couri presented it. It wasnt months and months of back and forth visits with fingers crossed that maybe, kinda, sorta something might work -- ending with me frustrated and right where I started. She was very assured that she could help me and I totally trusted that she could! The plan I was given was very straightforward and simple to follow. I finally felt like I had a road map rather than trying things on my own and wondering if I was going in the right direction or not. Each week I knew what my next steps were and felt confident in taking those steps because any time I felt like I needed more information or assistance I had the entire team at Health for Life to guide me, answer questions or just listen to my frustrations. Two of the things I appreciated most was the amount of time I got with Dr. Couri during appointments and never feeling like my symptoms werent real. I never felt rushed and always felt heard. Having worked with HFL and Dr. Couri for over 7 months now, I have lost over 20 lbs. without trying, I have gotten my energy back, random aches and pains have disappeared and are not my norm, my mood has stabilized and Im consistently happy again. Now that Ive been given and used HFLs roadmap to health, I know how to maintain all of the benefits Ive gained and can easily continue along that path for life. Im so glad I opted to take a different approach and visit Health for Life rather than more of the same with a regular doctor because I have learned so much and accomplished a ton!

My husband & I came to Couri & Smyth because we were having a difficult time to getting pregnant on our own. The program is not specifically tailored to individual’s needs. We were put on a food sensitivity program to eliminate things on a weekly basis & then added meal replacement shakes to it towards the end. No significant changes for either one of us. We took various supplements as well. Again not necessary tailored to us having unknown infertility issues. Everyone that works here is very kind. I think this is a great place to get educated on what is a healthy diet and for someone who is motivated getting all around healthy life on track. I do think I wasted $10K here to try & become pregnant. I would suggest women to go to a reproductive endocrinologist outside of WI who are also struggling to become pregnant. Take it from someone who has been there & done that.

Dr Smyth does a great job at looking at the whole picture of your health and explains things clearly. Highly recommend!

Best doctor I’ve even seen. They care about you. They dig deeper than anyone else will. They helped me change my lifestyle. Lose weight. Feel great. Get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy and get back on track after having my baby. Would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Couri is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful person. My overall health has greatly improved; by addressing actual and specific deficiencies from my individual lab results. Both Dr. Couri and Dr. Smyth (and their staff) are caring, professional, and personable. My husband and I did the program together and signed on for additional years to focus on specific health issues. We are very grateful for this program.

I am so pleased to have found Dr. Smyth when I did! I started the program right before getting engaged (which I highly recommend - perfect timing!). I had been aware of some food sensitivities and was on supplements and had been fighting stress for so long...Id feel good and then just be back at square one feeling icky. The knowledge that this program shared with me is truly life changing! The staff and doctors were always able to answer my questions in a timely manner and in a way I could understand. I am so happy to have found a doctor for LIFE!

Dr. Smyth is VERY detailed! The best medical care I’ve ever received!

I went to Dr. Smyth for reoccurring migraines I have struggled with my entire life. While it is an investment of time and money, the year I spent adjusting my eating habits and figuring out what other adjustments I needed to make was worth where I am now. Dr. Smyth provided me with the tools to manage my own health here forward. I am far less reliant on medications and only get the occasional migraines, usually easily controlled. I recommend this program for those who have complex issues that need individualized treatment.

I’m totally taken aback and cannot say I’d recommend this practice even before getting to a consult. In what world does a provider demand and require a husband to watch their video and come to the initial consult for a women’s hormone related appointment? How many years back does this practice want us to go? I’d get it if it was a fertility related consult but my health is mine… not my spouses. And it is MY responsibility to discuss the cost of anything with my spouse if that’s the way our household works. I heard the word “required” multiple times in the discovery call and asked for an exception or we just stop there. It’s “Required” so that’s that. I get that it’s expensive, but it’s not their business how I pay for it as long as they are paid. Let alone the expectation that they can demand the husband watch a video on women’s PCOS and hormones and come to the consult. This practice needs to come out of the dark ages!!!! So if you’re a women seeking care on your own… don’t bother watching the video or having the discovery call, it will leave you frustrated, disappointed, and a dead end for functional medicine

This program was so successful for me. I became pregnant after two months! If you don’t want to go the traditional fertility treatment route this is the place for you! Dr. Smyth made me feel confident that my pregnancy would go smoothly. They give you the tools to stay healthy for life.

Dr. Couri & her team are very helpful. My health has improved. Ive lost weight. And, Ive learned a great deal about the impact of nutrition, hormones, stress, my environment and exercise on my health. I appreciate Dr. Couris attention to very detailed lab results and close monitoring for improvement.

They are saving my life! They spent so much time with me going through every aspect of my health. Not only did we find hormone and thyroid issues we stumbled upon something else. I wouldn’t have found it if they gave up on me. They never make you feel bad about your ailments. They are so welcoming and supportive. They are insanely knowledgeable which is such a breath of fresh air. They don’t rush you out in 15 mins. Sometimes I’m with Dr. Smyth for an hour! When is the last time a healthcare provider spent an hour with you? I can could go on and on about how amazing they all are or you could just check them out for yourself!

If you have health issues that traditional medicine is baffled at, please give Drs. Couri and Smyth a try. I have a pretty heavy medical history and Dr Couri was able to work with my situation and also with my medical doctors to get me the results I had almost despaired of.They are kind, very thorough and personable and their emphasis on patient education and awareness is 2nd to none. You will learn alot!

Dr Kim Couri is a capable and caring Physician. Her staff is friendly and helpful. They have helped me a great deal.

Dr Smyth has been a tremendous help to our family. What a Blessing to have her caring for me!

I know of no other Dr who gives an entire hour to her patient at every appointment!

Gentle and encouraging way to get your health on the right track. A little challenging at times, but the health benefits are very rewarding.
